VAN MAHOTSAV WEEK CELEBRATED BY STUDENTS OF PREP I & II -2026

Van Mahotsav week imbibed the importance of tree plantation in everyone’s life. Each day was observed as Green Treasure Day with a mix of learning, creativity and action.

Throughout the week, the following activities were done by the students.

   Guided nature walks in the school garden, with students raising slogans ensued, wherein they also observed different trees and leaves.

   An interactive PPT was shown to the students to help them understand the importance of trees.

   Students were engaged in a 3-D tree making, where each child added their name tag as a leaf to the tree.

   A lively riddle time was organized in classrooms as an interesting learning activity encouraging students to guess the green treasure.

   Van Mahotsav was observed with great enthusiasm by the students of PPI and PPII, with an aim to spread awareness about the importance of Van Mahotsav by the young learners. This was followed by a  skit on THE GIVING TREE performed by the students of PPII. The celebration gained further energy with wonderful dance performances.

   At the end of the week, a sapling plantation campaign was conducted, symbolizing a collective  promise to give back to Mother Earth.
